I am trying to find out information regarding Sampson Thompson he is my 5 x Gt Granddad but have come to a blank. I dont know where he came from or if he had any brothers or sisters.

He was born in 1743 and lived in fylingdale/Robin Hoods Bay, Yorkshire. He was the landlord of the Kings Head at Robin Hoods Bay now called Ye Dolphin.

He married Elizabeth Harwood from Scarborough, I believe they got married in Scarborough and died 28/07/1828 in Robin Hoods Bay.

So if there is anyone out there who can shed some light on this for me or point me in the right direction, I would be very greatful.
