I have just changed my ISP, along with that i also have OE on my computer.
I use this a lot as it is connected to my printer and use it to scan and forward things like certs etc to other members.
I seem to have done something wrong and am wondering if anyone can help me out please.
I can send emails from OE to my other email account but i cannot do it round the other way and i get a message saying, is server name correct?
I would be very grateful if anyone could help please as this is doing my head in.
Many Thanks
Maureen

Have you changed your email address, or just your ISP? If you have changed your email address you will need to update OE with the new server details.

Incidentally, you also need to consider changing from OE to Windows Live Mail, as OE is no longer fully supported by Microsoft.

Maureen try this:-

In Outlook Express go to Tools/Accounts/Properties/Servers On the Servers tab you will see a little box and "my server requires authentication". Make sure this tab is ticked.

Hope it works!

Can you tell us if you have changed your email address please, and if so, who to. If not who is it you are using. We don't want to now your actual address, just the bit that comes after the @

This info will help with understanding what it is you will need to enter in the server details.

You can upgrade to WLM later. The process is virtually automatic.
