Trying to find Charles Martin COLLERSON, who appears (via Ancestry) in Newark, New Jersey in the Holbrooks City Directory for 1897-1901. I need to find where and when he died. Has anyone any ideas, please? Thanks.

Is this the directory to which you refer?

Holbrook's Essex County, New Jersey business directory including Harrison and Kearny, Hudson County, 1897

There are no Collersons listed.

Ancestry has been producing bogus search results for some of their directories recently. I suspect that's what happened for you.
