Nope, the new version will be able to have all the old stuff transferred over to it. Mine just appeared automatically! Of course you will have to put all your old program and ftm stuff on the puter first. Take it you have it on cd?

So basically, put your old FTM program on, then put on all the tree info you have from your cd or internet storage then put on the new FTM program. If it doesnt just appear (may be I was lucky :)) then you will just have to search and import it on there - its easy, dont worry.

Hi
I have a new computer and need to load software - if I load a newer version of FTM than the one on my old comp, will my original tree convert across or will I need to re-enter all data?

Sorry - am having a dumb moment !
