Hello

According to my Grandads Marriage Certificate his father worked as a "Foreman for The Gravesend Corporation".

It's funny because i keep getting images in my mind of Norman Wisdom as Pitkin in Square Peg when he plays the Council worker.

But anyway, would the council have any records of any worth to do with my great grandad and would they even be accesible?

Gravesham Borough Council are on 01474 564422.

The parish records for Gravesham (and Medway) are on Medway's website - Cityark. So it might be worth checking there too.
