If you run Firefox and wish to reduce the annoyance of the adverts, especially the flashing ones then download NoScript from Mozilla

You also get more of the usable screen back.

Now if only I could stop the screen jerking when attempting to scroll.

After many moans I must admit that GR is now looking far more professional.

To stop the screen jerking you could try changing the text size.

I think you hold down control and use middle mouse button.

Paul, do you mean the screen has been jerking since you downloaded Firefox?

There are definately still some bugs in the system. Ever since the site was updated, if I attempt to scroll up and down the screen, the page judders as it goes. It's really annoying and is considerably worse when the adverts are alongside.

Occasionally when I click BACK on the browser I loose the folder shown alongside every second thread, so cannot open them.

On my laptop, it all works beautifully and you would never guess that there were any problems.
Both computers run the same operating system, same browser and did not exhibit any problems prior to the update.
