Hi Everyone
Thanks for all your replies, I was looking at the 1911 census and found the family I was looking for at 3 Summers Street, Deptford
I have just looked at the Lewisham site that Mick suggests and Summer Street was in the Tanners Hill area. On previous census the family came from Tanners Hill.
I know there has been a lot of redevelopment in the area but just wondered if there was a possibility that the road was still there!
Thanks to Mick I have found a water colour of Tanners Hill, in 1926. Which is most interesting.

Thanks Mick for that link it has proved useful to me anyway as it provides some history of Lewisham Way where my family owned some property until the mid 1950's!

The one in EC1 is not right which is a shame as there are current photos of it on Google maps.

You could try the library the may have local photos, theres been so much redevelopment around there it may be under a sky scraper by now !

Can anyone tell me if 3 Summer Street, Deptford still exists as I would love to have a photo of this address.
