Thank you, David, for that web address. I have only just come back to Ancestry (christmas present) after a poverty-enforced break, and am horrified by the new home page. I have spent hours painstakingly adding individual censuses to my Favourites. Had not found the page you list - I have obviously lost my research skills over the past few months as well as everything else!

I recently complained to Ancestry & received a reply apologising & with the explaination that from Tuesday night through to Wednesdat night is the time frame in which they make updates & changes to their site, since then I have found this is when the problem is more likely to occur

Send a complaint to them or ring up their technical department, they are usually very helpful.

Thanks David ,so no known cure then.
thats what ive been doing so will have to just keep doing it i guess but its a real pain in the rearend and am considering subbing at fmp instead when ancestry runs out in 2 weeks time

Any ideas how to stop it doing this please as after about half an hour it takes an age to click over and its driving me to DRINK!!
its been doing it for weeks now
Child and idiot proof instructions preferred please if anyone can help.
