I have not got full membership to view him on the n.y passenger list. but I can send you the details of him comming back to the uk if you havent already have this.

With this name being so rare on ancestry there are a few births but they are dated the late 1990s early 2000s do you want these also.

If you google "Syed Wafakani" there's a hit on Ancestry.it which I guess is Ancestry.Italy. i think it is his arrival in New York but, of course, I don't have access to the details.

Thank you for your reply.

I am really trying to find details of my great-aunt's marriage to a Mr Wafaquani which I believe took place in the second world war and their children. I thought that with a surname as Wafaquani it would be easy to find; however, its looking as though the marriage and children took place overseas, so am struggling to find details of their births.

Any help/suggestions are welcome.

She was called Nellie (or Nelly) Johnson born in Liverpool in 1914, then went and married a Mr Wafaquani during the second world war and had children, before coming back to the UK - that's as much as I know.
