Partial FreeBMD Indexes & Images 1837-1983

If you were looking in the above part on Ancestry they are only upto about 1930ish, you have to be in mind that it is volunteers who do the transcribing

After 1930ish to 1983 you'll need to look in the Complete BMD Index ranges & Images 1837-1983

Which you'll need to know a rough date to be able to narrow it down

Are you looking at the full listings on Ancestry - the ones where you search quarter by quarter?

Their BMD listing otherwise is a copy of FreeBMD posted a month or so later than FreeBMD's listing.

Hi Wendy,

If you would like people to look for you just add their names, area which they lived, DOB etc... and hopefully someone will be able to help.

Hi,

I am searching for my Great Uncle and Aunts' deaths and have looked on both Ancestry and here. I realise that the women may have married, but any ideas why the men are not coming up? Even the ones who I am certain died as infants, so definitely before the 1985 cut off, seem to be eluding me.

Anyone help?

Many thanks

Wendy
