Hi it is me again still lookig for help on Mabel Allen born 1920 do not know where, she married Frederick Goldsmith 1940 in Norwich and
she died 1942 in Norwich Norfolk..
Her father was Arnold Allen and her mother Frances ? I don`t know if or when they got married I can find no wedding for Arnold Allen. Arnold was born 1879 in Whitwell Norfolk and is on 1891 census nothing after that. Both Arnold and Frances died in Norwich and are burried with Mabel.

Is this Arnold? Charles as middle name? How old was Frances when she died? If she never married Arnold it may be Mabel was registered in her maiden or a married name. Does Mabel have a middle name? How sure are you of her date of birth? One possibility is that she wasnt Arnold child but grew up believing he was.

Did you obtain her marriage certificate? Is that where you got her father's name from? Did it give her age?

The 1901 census has Charles & Mary Ann Allen with Jessie & Bertie still at home.

Hi every body I cannot get mabels Birth cert because I don`t know where she was born or her maiden name. The reason I know it is Mabel Allen is because she is in the same grave as her parents Frances Hannah ? and Arnold Charles Allen. They are in a Catholic churchyard.
I am desperate for help please.

No birth cert for her

you know she is burried and assume its with her parents?

In the two years she was married to mr Goldsmith, did they have any children?

They had David Golsmith born 1840 Norwich i got his Birth cert. but it just gives you the name mabel Goldsmith formerly Allen.

Hi Connie you have the wrong Florence it is Florence Mabel Allen daughter of Charles Allen, Arnolds Father she was born 1878 Whitwell Norfolk. I can not find anything on her either not doing very well on this part of the family.

A bit more info: Arnold died March 8th March 1957 Norwich
Frances died 17th March 1950 in the Norfolk of Nowich hospital.
