I have FTM2006 and downloaded my tree about a year ago. I have made many additions since and wish to download again. Do I delete the first one or will the new one automatically overwrite it ?

Evans, Radnorshire, Herefordshire,Cheshire. Jones, Breconshire. Lewis, Herefordshire.

Do you mean onto Genes, your other one should be automatically deleted but might take a few hours to update

Researching:
Stirrup, Williams, Winter, Newton, Johnson, Barrett, Bruce, Bruen, Hartley, Proffit, Rogers, all in Manchester and loads of other names and places

Are you downloading from GR via GedCom? or are you doing it from FTM to GR?

If from GR it won't overwrite unless you save it with the same file name. If you save it with a different name you will have 2 seperate trees on FTM. I currently have 6 different trees on mine.

If the other way then yes the one on GR will be replaced

I am downloading from GR to FTM so will ensure I use same file name.
