I have just come into posession of a photo of my great grand uncle Henry Percy Lay (1895 Minster Lovell Oxfordshire)who was a Sergeant in the Blackwatch during WW1. Does anyone have any tips on how I can gain access to his service record. I have searched the Commonwealth War graves comission website but there is no record of his death during WW1.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Alex
