No I have no one else of the same name.
What I will try is to alter someone else's details and see if that works. Will get back to you later.

If you make an alteration then click Save it should do it straight away without a box coming up asking if you want to save.
That normally only happens if you try to click on another record (person in your tree) without saving first.
Just a thought, do the edited details mirror someone else in your tree as I had trouble deleting a record because two were identical and the programme didn't know which one to delete. I had to put in a false detail in one of the records before I could continue.

Hi Brian
A box appears asking if I would like to save details. Then invites me to click OK or Cancel. In the bottom left hand corner of my screen(where it shows explorer logo) It says error on page.
Does this make any sense to you.

I have been trying to edit details of a relative and the corrected items will not save.
I tried again by removing the relative ( a cousin's husband) and re-entered the details. Still it will not save, what is happeniing to Genes, I am really fed up with this new look.
Can anyone tell me what is happening? I really would be very grateful
