I ahve just had an email to remind me that my Ancestry subscription is due at the end of the month.
I was wondering whether anybody ahs any opinions on whether to remain with Ancestry or change to Find My Past?
Are there any pros and cons of either?

Am lucky enough to have them both, think they are both good to have but personnally i would say ancestry as i have used that for 2 yrs now and found loads of info. I have only just got find my past in Dec due to an offer so am still new to it. Don't know what other people think.

The different sites have their strengths and weaknesses. They also seem to have incomplete sets of census returns. My g g grandparents are nowhere to be found in the 1851 census collection on Ancestry, but are there on The Genealogist. Have exactly the reverse situation for a g g aunt. She and her family are missing from both the 1891 and 1901 collections on TG, but are there on Ancestry.

Remember too that the cheapest Ancestry subscription now only gives access to basic information i.e. B.M.D.'s and census.
