Could someone pleas tell me how to bookmark a page? I can see bookmark in tools down side but don't know how to use it, I spend some time going back over the pages to find something I remembered seeing, and sure this would save time.
Thank you for any help .

Hi Pauline

Are you using Firefox?

If you are, if you look on your top toolbar it says File, Edit, View, History and then bookmarks.

When you find a website you want to save, just click on that and chose "Save as a bookmark" it'll then appear in your list

Hope that's helped

If you're running internet explorer then it's a bit different:

Top toolbar again but favourites not bookmarks

Again "add to favourites"

Show up on the left hand side panel

Or if you mean within Genes, then there is a "Bookmark This" button towards the top of the page (next to the "Reply" button). Click this and the thread will be listed in your "My Bookmarks" under Tools.
It's a good way of keeping tabs on an interesting thread (obviously, if you've added a comment on a particular thread, it will already be in "My Threads" - same area to the left - which has the same effect.

PS This applies to all browsers.

The bookmark in the "Tools" at left is really meant to just bookmark particular threads on these boards - if you click on a thread, then there's a "Reply" button and a "Bookmark This" button just under the thread title at top. Incidentally, any thread you reply to will get entered in the "My threads" list.

It's a lot better to use this than the Bookmarks/Favorites button, as they'll just get too cluttered. You should use Bookmarks/Favorites once, so you can get to these boards, but not in any particular thread. I have a bookmark in my browser to
