Hi LD

All I have is my Gt Grandfather's name (which is shown on his daughters marriage certificate). With regards to his bride's name, I don't know my Gt Grandmother's name.

James Henry Clarke...I know he lived in Northampton and I'm making a huge presumption that he was born there too. I have found 3 possible birth records for his name in Northampton c1885, but can't be sure.

Hi
I am trying to find ancestor information on my grandmother's side.

The only information I have is her father's name and profession (James Henry Clarke - Ret. Police Sergeant) from her marriage certificate. I know nothing more of him or his wife and other children except that he was alive in 1943 as he witnessed the marriage and was living in Northampton. Could anyone suggest where I go from here? Is there any access to police registers anywhere?
