Thanks Kath, always seem to be helping me out, appreciate it.

Think i may get 60 credits, it should give me the names im after, cheaper than getting the birth certificate.

Cheers

Yes it is Kevin, but only through Findmypast and is not complete yet.

Smallest amount of credits is £6.95p for 60 credits (although there is 10% off with promotional code).

It costs 10 credits to view a transcription and 30 credits to view the actual image, so is very expensive.

When you find the entry you want, click on `view original page`
The click on the tab `download`

You will then get the usual box with open and save options
Click on the save button, then choose a location to save the image.

You can then open the image in the viewer or programme of your choice

Please, how do you save images either from the transcription or the original image?

Couldn't find a way. Please explain in words of one syllable!

I am so thick!

Dont foget you can get a 10% off the cost of credits if you buy them through Find My Past and use the promotion code UYR23PAYG. Good luck Irene

Yes you can....I have done so.

The record you view is also stored in 'My Records' on the site and you can view again at any time at no extra cost...And I have done that too!

Re: 1911

I want to buy credits to view the actual census page. I've read a few threads and have found out that you can view the original page for 30 credits.

What I want to know is can you save the census page / image onto your PC?

Thanks,
Annette
