Hi Thomas,
Have also found the marriage of Francis Boyle and Rose Mountford 1901 in Gorbals, Glasgow.
Thomas you will need to buy some credits for Scotlands People to see the transcripts.
£6 will give you 30 credits and it will cost 1 credit to search and another 5 to see the actual certificate so for £6 you can have 5 certificates. Which is a bargain compared to the £35 it would cost you for 5 English/Welsh certificates!

Hi Thomas,
I have just found a Patrick Boyle born 1908 in Springburn Glasgow City on scotlands people ......is that not possibly him?

Well i have found 2 siblings during a search at the records office in Edinburugh and they were born in Glasgow but still no sign of Patrick there or on the Scotlands peoples site.Also checked the 1901 Census and they show up as living in Tradeston.

Have you found any siblings? What about electoral rolls to see where his parents were?

You need to ask for a look up on www.Scotlandspeople.gov.uk

Please can anyone give me a tip please.You may have seen some info regarding this previously but i am trying to find a birth cert for my grandad...Patrick James Boyle born Glasgow 1908,parents were Rose Boyle nee Montford and Francis Boyle.I know for a fact from other records i have that he and his mother and father were born in Glasgow,i have looked on another site that i am sure all the Scottish researchers will know but there is no record of him.Please can anyone give me a clue as to what to do now please.
