Hello everyone, happy new year.
can anyone help i have found i think on the 1911 census my grandmothers brother Robert Atherton born 1886 my grandmother Martha born 1888. on the 1911 census Robert has been married to his wife for 3 years she is also called Martha,is this just a coincidence or have i got the wrong one.
my grandmothers and Roberts parents were called ,Thomas and Bridget nee Scanlon.

Have you looked for both marriages?

If you have the marriage cert for your grandmother - what was her maiden name and the name of your grandfather?

Robert Atherton married Martha Solan in Liverpool 1908. Looks like they had a daughter Bridget Atherton born 1911 mothers maiden name Solan. Irene
