Childrens Homes in the 1940's.

Hi.

My mother & three of her sibblings were put into a childrens home following the death of their mother,
I have know idea where or how to find out which home (s) they were sent to.

They lived in the Hinckley area at the time.

Could anyone please help.

I would think your first port of call should be Social Services local to where they lived at the time of being placed in the home
