1911 Shocks and Surprises

Carol

Carol Report 19 Jan 2009 12:48

Due to the additional information available on the 1911 I have found the following on my side.

A couple married 30 years
Children born alive 17
Children still living 2
Children who died 15

On my partners side

Children born alive 14
Children still living 12
Children who died 5

I am assuming here that 3 were stillborn

Another couple on my side married 31 years and had no children.
How unusual was that.
