York is in Ontario, so I think the closures for BMDs would be 100/75/65 years.

It's almost impossible to access any birth records in Canada that recent. ( I know 1925 doesn't sound very recent!). It's usually a 100 year limit. BMD's are also a provincial responsibility so you need to know what province to search.
