can't add cousins!

hello, just getting started...not doing too bad!

I can't seem to add my cousins.....when i click on the aunt / uncles detail the box saying add child doesn't light up for me to click on....any ideas?

If they are still alive then why bother?

It isn't a good idea to put living people on online trees and you shouldn't without their permission anyway.

The GR tree is best seen as a way to contact potential relations with ancestors in common. You don't need living people on it to find your ancestors.

Otherwise I'm not sure why the add child bit isnt working for you. Seems odd.

Hey :)

You wont be able to add cousins, unless you add a partner to your aunt/uncle.

There has to be two people, connected spousily (?) to one another before you can add children which creates real problems when you have illegitimate children to add, you have to make up an extra parent.
