Does anyone have any idea if we can view the 1911 census at the National Archives?

Best to phone them for opening times, I think they charge £2 and you only get an hour.
Someone will tell me if I've made a mistake.

You can view it for free - the only charge is for copies - 20p a sheet. You have to book a one hour slot when you get there, but when that is finished you can book another, provided there is a computer available.

Thanks for that I was more curious about the viewing part, like details etc if I can view them for free well best I get myself down there so I can check a few and print them up. 20p is good for a print.

Yes and its free, just have to pay 20p copy.

You just go in and book, only can do it while you are there. Get an hour, then you have to go and book for another hour when your hour is up

Its just so others can have a go.

Been there today.
