I have just received a death cert, but can't read the c.o.d. Does anyone know of any websites that may list causes of death - maybe I'd be able to work it out that way, instead!

Thanks

hi rose

have you tried deciphering letters based on other letters written?

I had the same problem so guessed at a few letters then typed it into google and it came up with the right thing. (Aortic stenosis, cardiac decompression, edema)

Problem with causes of death is that they're often bizarre things that you don't hear every day, so makes them difficult to decipher in someone else's handwriting!

Thanks Natasha! Yes, I've compared it to the rest of the writing on the certificate - it looks like _ _ uminuria, but I just can't make out the beginning!

Sorry. That one doesn't seem to be around any longer. Try this.

could it be albuminuria

Looks like it could lead to kidney failure

or alluminuria?
