Afternoon all,
Does anyone know of another site I can check to see if my ancestor was baptised, other than familysearch.
Nothing is showing on there for him, but this obviously doesnt rule anything out.
Where else can I try?

Depending on where you're looking, there might be an online parish clerk for the county you want.

I have the Broadwell P/Rs on fiche
Baptisms to 1847
Marriages to 1847
Buriels to 1917

any help ?

There are 2 Broadwell's one in Oxfordshire and one in Gloucestershire

Morning,
Sorry have just seen your responses from last night.
I didnt realise that there were 2 Broadwells. I have looked on the road map and could only see one.

The person that I am looking for is Stanley Malcolm Robert Gardner, born 25th August 1888 in Broadwell, the certificate lists as part of Witney, Oxford. His parents were William James and Martha (Nee Large)

Sorry my transcripts do not go far enough far enough to help you

The marriage of William and Martha is on the IGI-did you see it?

30 December 1880 at Windrush Glos
William James GARDNER age 21
Martha LARGE age 19

There is a baptism for Martha as well

03 Nov 1861 at Turkdean
Martha d John Large & Sarah

William does not seem to be there or any of the children on the 1891 census
Reginald is down as born Kencot Oxon but he is not baptised there

They appear to have moved about quite a bit ,William's job as a groom is probably why.

Someone else may be able to help further !
