Def. worth the money, whats a couple a quid a week? Do 98% of searches on ancestry.

I would also be lost without it.

Why not try the 14 day free access first (what I did)....didnt take long till I was hooked!

I've had a subscription now for five years - wouldn't be without it.

Certainly better value than buying credits on Genes.

I just started researching last year without the first clue. Found family I had no idea existed now or in past. I have found more info than I would have without it lets put it that way. Invaluable.!!!

You have to remember that it is only an aid to research, not absolute fact, so the census results need to be treated with some caution, there are a lot of mistakes in transcription as with all sites,
It is the only site with ful BMDs which is so useful, best to ttake a trial first when you have to time to stick with it for a few hours to get the hang of where to look.

Find My Past also has complete BMD's and census (maybe not all censuses at present but working on it).

I couldn't manage without it, I have Find my Past as well, but Ancestry is of far more use to me.
I am not keen on the new search, so I always use the option to change back to the old search
