Hello all,

A lot of my family owned shops in Birmingham, West Midlands in the early 1950s. I was wondering if there is a way i can search for shops by owners names (i don't know the shops names, just what they sold) as none of my relations are alive now.

Any pointers will be much appreciated

They may feature in old telephone directories.
Some of these are on Ancestry.
