Hello everybody

Can somebody please do me a favour and see if they can find an Edward Jones living in Newtown Powys Montgomeryshire Wales.
Im not sure of his age but i know he was a Carpenter and he had a daughter named Elizabeth and she was born c1848.

Any help would be fantastic

How sure are you of Edward's occupation .... is it really accurate or did you take it off a marriage certificate?


As you may imagine, there are lots of Elizabeth Jones born in Wales with father called Edward.


I found ONE in 1851 (and on no other census) where an Elizabeth b. ca 1850 was born in Newtown ........... but the father Edward was a Labourer.




We need a little more information, I think!!!

Your right it was off a marriage cert i got the occupation.

Elizabeth got married in Chester to a William Hodson in 1875.

Thats all i know unfortunately.
