There is a site called Genogold which has a lot of parish records online for Devon and Cornwall.

Is this the same Joseph who is said to come from Illogan in an earlier census? If so, could the person have mistranscribed it?

I have Joseph Thomas in 1871 aged 26 and living in Marske by Sea. He was born in Cornwall but the village is illegible - looks something like Armigan or Armgan. Have not been able to trace it - can anyone help?
