Ancestry and birth records after 1916

Hello.
I am a member of both Genes re-united and Ancestry. I find ancestry good searching for records but the community site on this is a million times better.
Can anybody tell me why Ancestry is now only listing Births prior to 1915. There is a message to click on if you are looking for a birth after this but it locks.

I think it's still playing up at the moment - it's been a bit odd for the past few days. I know a few people have been having problems lately.

The full indexes are still there. The 1915 cutoff applies to freebmd as far as I can see.

Try using

http://freebmd.rootsweb.com

now goes to about 1930 if you are lucky.

as a transcriber for freebmd we are up to 1931 for marriages its ongoing so always worth dating searches well past 1927 you might be lucky
