Hi,

Have you applied for a search to be done at the GRO? His entry may have been missed of the indexes in error but the death records for that period are digitised now and the seach will be done via those records as opposed to using the indexes.

Is there are local family history society by where they lived? Mine has one and is very good and has a disc called they died in Bristol and has loads of deaths on it? You could try the library for death notices. As for abroad I haven't got a clue.

SORRY
