Problem viewing census pages

I am a gold member of GR. Since I had my P.C. re-formatted and a new security system (Avast) put onto it I cannot view original census pages ( the page seems to be downloading but when done is blank). The microsoft engineer advised that it is not a fault with the computer. Has anyone else had this problem and knows the remedy. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks .

hi have you tried your pop up blocker if you go to tools right hand side above where it tells you gold member go to pop up blocker click settings should open up page add site and apply might help thats what i did

Oops! I am being thick I think 'cos I cannot see "tools" on right hand side above gold member. More help please! Thanks

OK TALK YOU THROUGH IT GO TO WHERE YOU SEARCH RECORDS RIGHT ALONG THERE TO THE END ABOVE SIGN OUT YOU WILL SEE GOLD MEMBER RIGHT ABOVE THERE YOU WILL FIND TOOLS

Tools on my screen is way up at the top of the screen, not just above type of member

It is part of the desktop,



Or she may have to bring up the toolbar that has Tools on it ..... click on VIEW to do that

Thanks Sylvia and snapdragon. I have located tools and amended pop up blocker to allow this site. Have re-tried viewing image to no avail!
Not sure what to do next but thanks again for your efforts.

I don't know the facilities offered for gold members, but if you want an image from a census, I'm sure one of us with ancestry / find my past subscription will help.

Eureka! After contacting GR support I can now view the census pages. The remedy was to install the latest version of Adobe. Thanks for your help.
