From what you are saying, I assume you have a tree on Ancestry, FreeBMD is sponsored by Ancestry and provides Ancestry with the information, but it is a separate entity so it will not save to the Ancestry tree from the FreeBMD site.

Hi Evelyn.
I have the same problem. Able to add census info but not the BMDS.

Well, clicking on a BMD brings up a window of info, and the option to 'save' to 'a person on my tree' or 'save to my shoebox'. But when the BMD is a 'FreeBMD' there is no 'save' option. Sorry if I'm not making myself clear.

Hi. I have just subscribed to Ancestry for the first time (thanks to Heather and Glen). I have been busy adding info on BMDs to people in my tree, but do not seem to have that option with info from Free BMD. Could someone please tell me how to do that? Thanks
