any ideas please. I am researching for my mum. this is the info she knows and we have got.
her father was fred meehan born 1906, m.edna stubbs b.1909.
then we only know freds mothers side but only his fathers name john thomas meehan we know john got married in 1899 but that is all. mum is going to get marriage cert, will this help us find his dob etc? we have also access to 1911 census which they dont appear to be on yet thanks tracy.

hi there,
Depends where they come from. I have searched my dads side of the family with meechan. They added the c when they came across from Ireland. We had done some research for Ireland and have found quite a bit. Just let me know how you get on with your search, because it might take you to Ireland.
