Hi can any body help please, I am stuck on my Grt. Grandfather. James William Eastman born 1846 Graham Street Islington Middlesex. I have his birth cert. father William Eastman mother Mary Ann Evans Married 1846 stating that Williams father is James. only info i can find is there is a William Eastman married to a Mary Ann Belchamber married 1840 and according to other trees his father is Samuel.

If you have the 1846 marriage certificate, does it give the age of William Eastman, or his occupation and whether he is a bachelor or widower?

The only William Eastman I can find in Shoreditch in the 1841 census is already married with a family and he is an Undertaker.

The wedding cert. states that he is a batchelor and are both of full age. nd the parish of Shoredich, It says he is a waterman and his father is a Sawyer.
