1911 period business directory's

James Bruce Grill?
as stated on the 1911 census form,


my greatgrandad was a carman/horsekeeper, at the above business
does anyone have directories for this period, that has this firm listed please,
my grandad was also employed there....as a carman..

also a painters and decorators," GILINSKI"
all, I suspect within bethnal green.........

LONG shot I know, but..........

Had a look on Ancestry directories but nothing for Grill in the right area. Nothing at all for Gilinski and I did try a few wildcard searches.

Have you tried

http://www.historicaldirectories.org/hd/index.asp

You might have more luck there as they do have directories for London in the 1910s.
