Thanks

Family Historian's files are automatically in the Gedcom format.

But you are correct, I will wait and see.

It shouldnt be a problem if you make a gedcom and then export?

Wait til it comes and see if there is any probs :)

I have my tree on FH, but my old PC crashed and I cannot find the original discs. I have now ordered FTM and am awaiting delivery, however I remember when I tried importing my file into an older version of FTM it gave error messages.

Does anyone know if I would be able to import the FH file into FTM 2009, or will I have to start entering it all again?

I cannot now remember what the error message was.
