This is an odd question, but I have searched many other places looking for answers.
Way back in the 50s, no TV variety show was complete without Windy Blow, a pram-pushing clown who made animals out of balloons. He seems to have vanished without a trace, certainly very little info has so far come to light. That info is needed for a research project into the history of balloon twisting. Can YOU help? It would be much appreciated.

Hi
Don't know if it sounds too obvious but I have found info on the person alias Charles Cole by entering two subjects in the search engine . Always enter the word by putting them in " e.g. "Windy Blow"+"balloons" no spaces between the " and the + . This should give you the info you require.- J Le

Thanks, but already have the article. Yes, he was also known as Charles Cole and Dave Cecil, but research so far indicates that neither was his real name. He really has proved to be a mystery.

Thanks Carlo, but to do that I'd need to know his real name. It;s neither Charles Cole nor Dave Cecil, the names that crop up in the few online references.

What about contacting the BBC? If he appeared on TV shows and they paid him they would have to have known his real name wouldn't they? Or maybe he had a bank account in one of his pseudonyms but it's worth a try.
