1881 look up please.

Hi, In 1861 Leicetershire census Names JAMES HAINES c1821 / SUSANNAH HAINES c1822. Sarah c1851 & Mary c1858. Found them in 1871 census but Susannah name as changed to HANNAH . Hopeing somebody could do look up for me in 1881 census and check name please.

I have just looked on family search and found james but not Susannah or Hannah. Unless she had died by then?

Hi Mararet, I have that marriage but because 1861 census states her name was SUSANNAH I dismissed it.

Have you looked for the family in 1851 to see if the details match?

Hannah may be her preferred name.

My grandmothers sister is Annie on the census . She also married as Annie because we knew her husbands surname. I could not find her birth anywhere. It was only after another member contacted who was a relative I found her real name was Phoebe Ann. The member had her birth and death certs

When you use familysearch for the 1881 census you click the box at the top right saying household. It shows Hannah. You can also look for neighbours who often prove to be family
