hi there,
Just been in touch with the Library and Lysaghts was the steelworks in Scunthorpe, so i have learnt something new there. It is only down the road from Burton Stather, so he would have walked or gone by bike. So it sounds like a steel works accident.
thanks for all your help everyone.
thanks

Information below found on Google, came from "The Star Index" held at North Linc Library. Maybe worth contacting them to see if they can help in any way.

PARKIN Arthur Mr. Burton Stather Deaths Death/inquest, aged 23 [killed at Lysaghts]

Had a google and Lysaghts seems to be around Newport South Wales.

Have you thought about getting the death certificate to see who the informant was?

Had a quick look on FreeBMD but couldn't find anything

Hi there,
This is in Lincolnshire. I have been into Grimsby archives and they don't hold either paper. I just wondered if anyone had access to anyone of these papers in Lincoln. Also i believe that lysaghts is in Wales somewhere. He lived in Burton Stather.
thanks everyone.

Is this an Aussie lookup? Best to make it clear. Remember, most people on here are from the UK.

hi there,
Not sure if he is a member of the family, but would like to know more. Have google it and found nothing. Arthur Parkin killed on the 2nd October 1920 age 23. Think it came from the Lincolnshire Star or the Lindsey Star and i don't have access to this archives. That is all i have of him. Is there any one that can help on this subject please.
thanks
