How do I find out th names of siblings??

Hi Mary

If you have a copy of your dads Birth Certificate. His mums maiden name should be on it. If you think your dad was the eldest then I would start looking through the births in the area they lived after 1933. If he wasn't the eldest child. Then I would find the date and place of his parents marriage and start working through year by year. In the area they lived. Using your dads surname and his mothers maiden name.

Hope this makes sense.

Hi My dad Allister Stewart was born in 1933 in Greenock, I know he had 2 brothers and 2 sisters, but only know the name of 1 brother and 1 sister!! How do I find out the other 2 names??
Help much appreciated
