Hi Jim

I remember the 1891 wasnt quite right he is alf not alfred :) Thank you my alfred married in Loppington shropshire in 1881 to an emma cox

In 1881 Emma is living in Eccles Manchester as a servant

I am still convinced there is some connection to the Browns in Toxteth Park with the parents coming from shropshire it all seems too coincidental.
Any more suggestion greatful
Jan (wishing she had a time machine )

Name: Alfred Brown
Age: 26
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1845
Relation: Head
Spouse's Name: Martha
Gender: Male
Where born: Melverley, Shropshire, England
Civil Parish: St Clement
County/Island: Lancashire

Name Age
Alfred Brown 26
Martha Brown 35
Alfred C Brown 2 (This is who I think is actually Alfred E Brown its not very clear on the actual copy but to me looks like an E)
Martha Braddock 20

There seems to many links not to be him they are in Liverpool toxteh Park the same time as young Alfred was born (I also have found the marriage of Alfred and Martha) young alfreds parents were originally from shropshire which is where alfred went back to and maybe met emma cox? young alfreds mother is Martha and young alfreds eldest daughter is also martha,

I just need to see if someone else could suggest how to find out if I could find out for definate if this is my relative I have tried to find young alfreds birth but to no avail any suggestions would be greatfully received.

Thanks in advance Jan
