Hi,

A couple of years ago I found a website that showed where concentrations of a particular name lived in a given year. You entered the name you were interested in and chose a year and it showed where people with that name were living.

Ive tried to find it again but had no luck. Does anyone know the address at all?

Thanks

Hello Nadine,

I kept a copy of the newspaper cutting from The Times 21st January 2006 when the site had only been open for 5 days. The website address is

www.surnameprofiler.org

Try also www.spatial-literacy.org/UCLnames/help or simply www.spatial-literacy.org and then follow the links from there.

Other useful sites are www.familysearch.org
www.british-genealogy.com

Good luck. Pam
