There are some records of the Asylum at the National Archives in Kew. Not online though - you'd have to go there or get someone to go for you.

Can anyone help me. I have traced my 2x Great grandfather and two of his brothers to the Royal Military Asylum. I have traced them on the 1841 census, and know they left the Asylum 4 years after entering. Can anyone advise who to contact to find out more details about their stay. Military not being my strong point. I have email the RMA suggested on website several times but heard absolutely nothing. No one in my family is able to furnish me with any information either. I know their parents names as it is on their details, but information beyond that I haven't anything.
