Hi

Just wondered if anyone could tell me if these two streets are the same, The Coombe and Coombe Street, both are registered Dublin.

I ask because I have just received a marraige cert for my great grandmother and her address in 1908 is 33 The Coombe. Marriage is registered in Dublin. Her father is down as deceased.

I then went and looked at the Dublin 1911 Census for Ringwoods (her maiden name) living in The Coombe. Only one came up a Margaret Ringwood a widow, living at 8 Coombe Street and I wondered if these were the same streets.

Hope you can follow what I am trying to say, lol.

Thanks
Tracie.

P.s Just popping out but will be back shortly if anyone has any questions.

Hi Maura

Thanks for your reply. Don't want to seem thick, but would these areas been known collectively as The Coombs?

Thanks
Tracie.
