If you put in her dads name

Charles Wadham born 1843

It brought it up...they are in Victoria House

Good Luck!

If you open the image, click on Basingstoke ( at the top of the image), then click on District 5, you will get a description of the area covered. At the end of the description it mentions "Isolation Hospital".

There does seem to be a problem with these records - normally you click on the District to bring up the images and "View Description...." to see the area covered.

See Annie go there before me!

Just to add, my gg grandfather Henry Gradwell, was born in Basingstoke in 1831, living in the Workhouse in 1841, an apprentice cordwainer. No parents ever found. I contacted the Hampshire records office and there are no Gradwells either born, married or buried in Hampshire - EVER. That includes churches too. So what was my GG granddad doing there? If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. I will pay handsomely to anyone who can help.
