So frustrating. George boarding with Thomas on 1861 and Benjamin boarding with someone else on 1871.

I don't think I am going to get much further with this one but will keep trying.

I have Hone families on the 1881, 1891 and 1901 that I am convinced are all related but cannot prove it.

I did find a connection who said they had a family tree back to 1500s but unfortunately they never came back to me which is such a shame.

Are the names from the 1871 Census? I have most of the Hone family that you have listed and know where most of them were. I have been hunting the Hone lot for about six years and have managed to go back to 1772.
I am stuck on George Hone born abt 1805 and he died 15 October 1868. He was living with Thomas and Sarah Hone and their family as boarder on the 1861 Census. I am trying to find out if he was Thomas's brother or if there were any other siblings. I spent last night going through every Hone on the 1841 census and have saved the ones that were born in same place about the same time and will have to start to research them to find a link. Benjamin 1854 was in same household in 1861. Benjamin later lived at 16 Jeremiah Street.

Would you mind looking at Benjamin 1815 please. The name Benjamin was used through each generation and he was born around the same time as Thomas 1814.

I have checked Jeremiah street Jeremih st west and jeremiah st east and found no one of that surname.

Sorry didn't explain properly. I have a death certificate of 1868. He died at 15 Jeremiah Street Poplar. In 1861 he lived at 6 Jeremiah Street Poplar. I know some other members of the family were at 16 Jeremiah Street at some point so am trying to find out who was living there in 1871. Thanks Pam

Where did you find the name? If you are using Ancestry, look at the image and then use the arrows at the top of the screen to go backwards and forwards through the rest of the images for the street.
