hi can any one help.....

i am trying to trace my ggrandparents but cant find anything on him but i do know that they were Military but there is nothing on here about them does anyone know how i goabout searching Military records and what is the best site .. i want to go back 1900 and before

all i know is that my gggrandfather Cecil Harold Maudant Rivington died before my ggrandfather Cecil Harold Maudant Rivington married Rosina Leney ( i know very confusing) which was in 1916 all i know that my gggrandfather was a captin in her majersty army as it was on the marrige cert. but i dont know where to start looking , i dont know when or how he died or who he was married too .
if anyone knows where for me to start looking please help
